Techno Shield debuts its latest installation in Ilkeston Nottingham, England, and it is a performance cage for the Esaote-manufactured Magnifico tomograph.
The client chose as finishes 3 gigantographs for 3 sides of the cage and a visual of wide light for the control room. On the ceiling, a ceiling-wide window display depicting a sky was made and chromotherapy lighting was installed around the entire perimeter of the room, giving the room various shades of light, making the examination room more comfortable for patients.
The alleviation of claustrophobia brought about by the aforementioned humanizations enhances aesthetics and increases comfort, primary goals of Techno Shield, which devotes a great deal of time and resources to these kinds of improvements in healthcare environments.
