humanizing exam Room

Techno Shield has been designing, manufacturing, installing and testing Faraday cages for medical use since 1998. Its technical staff, on the other hand, has been working in this specific field since 1993.

In recent times, thanks to an increased sensitivity of the public and private Client, it has employed human and material resources, not only to better ensure the operation of these complex diagnostic machines, but also to make the examination rooms more welcoming. These machines, in fact, due to the long duration of some investigations and the sheer size of them, determine in patients senses of anxiety and claustrophobia, agitation and often outright panic. To avoid, or alleviate such unpleasant feelings and to downplay such situations, more and more work is being done 'humanizing' the clinical environment and in particular the MRI examination rooms.

MRI compatible window decalies, chromotherapy and aromatherapy

To 'humanize' such environments, more and more attempts are being made to make real windows, to introduce natural light into these environments and make them closer to 'normal' environments. In addition to making such windows, artificial ones are created, through the use of LED decals, appropriately screened and made compatible with the MRI environment, embellished and made verisimilar with landscapes, skies, panoramas, rendered with photographs of degrees size and high resolution.

Such decals, made by means of special high-performance filters, compatible with MRI environments, are combined with multicolor linear lighting systems. The latter, contribute to coloring the diagnostic environment and making it curious and picturesque, thanks to the possibility of making such colors change among thousands of shades, according to programmed, or customized sequences.
Typically, these 'color therapies' are placed on the perimeter of diagnostic rooms and help to 'humanize' such environments, along with the glass decals already described.

It is possible to make a choice among the images to be introduced in the window decals, choosing from catalog, very high resolution and very large images.
When, then, it is desired to introduce real windows on the walls of these rooms and it is not possible to make real ones, Techno Shield also provides extremely lifelike 'false windows', thanks to ultra-thin wall decals of the size of 60×120 centimeters per single element, which can open the operator and the patient to panoramas, gardens and very high resolution photographs of various subjects. The humanizing effect is complemented by aromatherapy devices.
